Nestled in a serene neighborhood just a short stroll from the train station, Piccolo proved to be a charming retreat during my extended Swiss getaway. The bright and tastefully decorated interiors set a welcoming tone, complemented by a helpful and friendly staff who ensured a seamless stay. The breakfast spread was a definite highlight, offering a delectable array of fresh options with the standout being the delightful Bircher muesli.Housekeeping was impeccable, with rigorous sanitization measures in place to uphold hygiene standards. The subtle touches of a mini-fridge and flat-screen TV in the clean and cozy room added a touch of convenience. While the absence of a buffet-style breakfast due to restrictions was understandable, the individually tailored options provided a pleasant alternative.In terms of value, Piccolo strikes a balance between comfort and cost efficiency, making it a wise choice for those seeking a personal and well-maintained accommodation option in Locarno.
